Description
The Artsound MIC-216 is designed to make paging across a 100V audio system simple and practical. Connected to a compatible Artsound amplifier, it allows an operator to select the required zone and make a clear announcement without needing to access the amplifier or audio system directly.
It is particularly useful where different areas need to be addressed individually, such as retail stores, hospitality venues, commercial buildings and other public spaces. The dedicated paging console gives staff a straightforward way to make announcements exactly where they are needed.
The MIC-216 features a unidirectional condenser microphone with an adjustable gooseneck, allowing the microphone to be positioned comfortably for speaking. An attention chime can be used to attract listeners’ attention before an announcement, while separate volume control is provided for the chime and microphone.
Two RJ45 ports are provided, with loop-through connectivity allowing multiple paging consoles to be connected. Up to 6 MIC-216 microphones can be used in the system. An LED indicator provides a quick visual indication of the console’s operating status.
The MIC-216 is compatible with the Artsound MX-2406M and MX-5006M 100V amplifiers, making it a practical addition to zone-based paging systems where reliable and straightforward staff communication is required.
