Description
The Global Caché GC-IRL is an RS232 IR learning device for capturing and digitising infrared commands from AV remote controls. It captures the IR carrier frequency and on/off timing data required to accurately reproduce the original IR signal.
The GC-IRL supports IR carrier frequencies from 30kHz to 500kHz and outputs the captured data as comma-delimited ASCII via RS232. The device operates at 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity and no flow control.
Used with the GC-IRL Utility, captured commands can be displayed, converted to supported Global Caché and CCF formats, and copied to the Windows clipboard for use in IR databases, spreadsheets and control-system programming.
